I have been selling real estate since 2014 after a career in nursing for many years. I met my husband Sean, who is an internal medicine physician, in his first month of residency. It wasn’t until 2011 that we discovered the physician loan: a financial tool that would have made our life transitions far more affordable and accessible for us as Sean started his career. We couldn’t believe we never knew about it! This information could have changed our lives back then. This revelation led me to delve into real estate, driven by a clear purpose: to impart this knowledge to physicians. Armed with a real estate license and this invaluable knowledge, I endeavored to educate medical professionals about the existence and benefits of physician loans, understanding firsthand the impact such information could have in navigating the housing market under financial constraints.
My journey in real estate started with a proactive approach, researching specialized loan options and collaborating with lenders. Over time, I gained expertise, eventually becoming recognized as an expert in physician loans and certified as a DRS agent (Doctor Relocation Specialist). This specialization allowed me to forge connections nationwide and collaborate with organizations, aiming to bridge the gap between physicians' housing needs and financial possibilities. Today, a significant part of my clientele comprises physicians. Guiding them through real estate transactions isn't just a job; it's a mission. It's about leveraging my expertise to empower physicians, ensuring they have access to tailored homeownership opportunities that align with their unique circumstances.
Being married to a physician and having worked as a registered nurse for many years, I understand this role's unique schedule and demands. The medical field can feel like a world of its own—I pride myself on speaking the language, understanding where my clients are coming from, and how I can best serve them. I make myself easily accessible and flexible to your needs, knowing family and work always come first.
